i’m just going to take my rage out on tumblr.

I really dislike cocky, arrogant bands. I had to deal with a situation last night where a band had literally no respect for me, my partner, or our company. We made a professional decision to remove them from an event they were playing for us next weekend. They had personally attacked our ability to promote our event because we asked them to post a status about the show so that their fans would know about it.

I have spent 5 years priding myself on always working with the best people possible. Which in this case means bands who have respect for us and other bands. Conducting yourselves in a rude and unprofessional way will burn every bridge into success in the music industry.

I know bands who have toured the world, and are still the most humble and down to earth people I know. Then there are local bands like this that think far too highly of themselves.

My mind has been blown.
